Jewelry Expressions – Introduction: Mondays, 10:30a – 12p, April 7–June 2 (No class May 26th) Washington Park, 2025 Washington St., Eugene. This training is designed for individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. It provides opportunities for students to learn skills in jewelry design, encourages self-expression and social skill development. Instruction and supports are provided to encourage independence, productivity, creative expression and self-confidence. One-on-one skill instruction is also available. Cost: $100 Training fee based on attendance for 8 sessions up to 12hrs. @ at $8.33 an hour.

Students will learn new techniques and designs, how to market and sell their jewelry and become more confident, self reliant and self-determined with this training. Cost: $100 Training fee based on attendance for 8 sessions up to 12hrs. @ at $8.33 an hour.

Baked Casseroles: Learn to make nutritious and low cost gluten free meals using fresh produce and organic products. Cost: $100. Training fee based on attendance for 4 sessions up to 12 hrs @ $8.33 an hour.
Hearty Soups: Learn to make delicious soups using fresh produce and inexpensive protein that can be stored and or be frozen. Cost: $100. Training fee based on attendance for 4 sessions up to 12 hrs @ $8.33 an hour. Cost $100.
Garden to Table-Session 1, 2 and 3: The Garden to Table training will offer individuals with developmental disabilities the education, support, training and tools to grow their own food in a community garden setting using the Riley Campbell Memorial Garden plots. Focus will be on preparing the soil, planting seeds and starts, fertilizing, mulching and caring for a spring garden and harvesting salad greens and herbs for personal use. Cost $50. Training fee based on attendance for 4 sessions up to 12 hrs @ $8.33 an hour.

LTD bus #51, Join others for a free night of pizza, comedy, and music to learn more about the programs, trainings and opportunities available for young adults experiencing disabilities.
