This is a schedule mostly of upcoming social skills classes and support groups. The location remains St. Mary's Episcopal Church on 13th and Pearl. The support group meets on the second Monday of the month from 4:30 to 6 pm. The social skills class meets on the third Monday of even-numbered months; on odd-numbered months we go out somewhere chosen by the previous social skills class. 

November, 2011

 

• Social skills class, November 21, from 6:30 to 8 pm. 
• KindTree's holiday art cards and originals at Holiday Market (Holiday Hall), November 25-27. 

 

 

 

December

 

• Support group on Monday, December 12, from 4:30 to 6 pm. Holiday pizza party. 
• The social skills class will be enjoying a social activity sometime in December. 
• KindTree Autism Artism's traveling art collection will be at Axe and Fiddle in Cottage Grove in December. The date of the opening is Friday, December 16, 5pm. 
• Art scholarships deadline, Dec 23, to be awarded in early January. 

 

January, 2012

 

• Support group on Monday, January 9, from 4:30 to 6 pm. 
• The social skills class on Monday, January 16, from 6:30 to 8 pm. 
• Dj and Ray will be putting on a benefit concert for us in January or February, but the time and place haven't been set yet. 
• Art for Autism Artism 2012 due by February 10.

 

February, 2012

 

• Support group on Monday, February 13, from 4:30 to 6 pm. 
• The social skills class will be going out. 

 

March, 2012

 

• Support group on Monday, March 12, from 4:30 to 6 pm. 
• The social skills class, Monday, March 19, from 6:30 to 8 pm. 
• Two-person art show by Larry Hurst and Kwang will open at the Jazz Station in March (tentative). The date of the opening hasn't been set yet. 

 

April, 2012

 

• Support group on Monday, April 9, from 4:30 to 6 pm. 
• The social skills class will be going out. 
• Autism Artism 2012 will be at Territorial Vineyard  during April. We've reserved the place but haven't set an exact date for the party. 

 

May, 2012

 

• Support group on Monday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 pm. 
• The social skills class, Monday, May 21, from 6:30 to 8 pm. 

 

June, 2012

 

• Support group on Monday, June 11, from 4:30 to 6 pm. 
• The social skills class will be going out. 

 

July, 2012

 

• Support group on Monday, July 9, from 4:30to 6 pm. 
• The social skills class, Monday July 16, from 6:30 to 8 pm. 

 

August, 2012

 

• The retreat is August 24-26. 
• There will be no support group or social skills activity, as we at KindTree prepare for the retreat. 

 

September, 2012

 

• Support group on Monday, September 10, from 4:30 to 6 pm. 
• The social skills class, Monday, September 17, from 6:30 to 8 pm. 
• Volunteer appreciation Potluck, date TBA

 

October, 2012 

 

• Support group on Monday, October 8, from 4:30 to 6 pm. 
• The social skills class will be going out. 
• We will be hosting our Mask Making party at Cozmic Pizza on a Sunday before Halloween.
