Leah DeMonia

Leah is in Second Grade (2010)

Leah DeMonia was born in 2001 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and now lives in Oxford, PA, just west of Philadelphia. She has a genuine passion for art and seems to get inspired by drawing children she sees at school. Along with drawing people and faces, she also enjoys creating abstract art.

She continues to make progress in her verbal communication and her therapist uses art to teach her to understand facial expressions and social stories. Leah has a younger sister, Sarah. Sarah shows amazing kindness and patience with Leah. They enjoy playing and doing activities together.

In 2009, Leah was able to attend Camp Saginaw, a summer day camp, for the first time. She enjoys swimming, riding go karts, and even did the zip line, 60 feet in the air! At the end of summer camp, she got a gift certificate for being the most artistic.
