Hi Autism Interest Group,
Do you or someone you know have autism or a documented disability and plan to attend college or vocational school next year in Oregon, California, or Washington? If so, then check out information on the Incight Scholarship at incight.org/education/scholarship. Applications are now being accepted!
This is especially exciting after reading the story last month about a $2.5 million, five-year grant from the US Department of Education Office of Postsecondary Education to create a college program that enrolls students with ID in regular PSU classes. So exciting to read about more opportunities for supporting students to achieve higher learning! :)
Have a great weekend,
Since 2004, Incight has awarded more than 850 scholarships to students with disabilities pursuing higher education. These scholars are enrolled in Community College, University, Vocational School and Graduate Programs. Up to 100 students who demonstrate outstanding service to their community and overcome personal obstacles are awarded scholarships from Incight. After graduation, many scholars return to Incight to participate in program opportunities and volunteer!
