KindTree Productions - DOE Survey re:parent disputes with schools

Dear Community Member,

The Department of Education is concerned about the significant emotional and financial costs associated with disputes between educators and parents of children with special needs. They are particularly interested in getting "upstream" of the disputes before teams are polarized and conflict is more difficult to address.

They are currently in the process of identifying root causes of these conflicts and illuminating those strategies that help prevent or effectively address conflict. Having developed a survey to discover this information, they are seeking responses from parents, educators, and other interested individuals involved in special education.

Please help by completing the survey (link is below) and forwarding this email to parents, teachers, building principals, and others you believe should be included. Completing this survey should take you between 5-10 minutes.
