SENSORY FRIENDLY MOVIE

IN JOSEPH, OREGON THIS WEEKEND

For our Eastern Oregon constituents, you can enjoy a Sensory Friendly showing of Kung Fu Panda 2 this Saturday, July 2nd, 12:30 p.m. at the OK Theatre located in Joseph, Oregon.   Regular movie prices apply. 

LEARN FROM THE EXPERT ON KEEPING PEOPLE WITH ASD SAFE

ASO will host Officer Brian Herritt, of Autism Risk & Safety Management, at 2 different venues in the Portland metro area.  His presentation is appropriate for parents, school staff, case managers, special needs housing personnel and any other agencies that work with people with ASD. 

Beaverton location:  Wednesday, September 7th, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. ARRO Westside Center at 2360 SW 170th, Beaverton, 97208

Portland location:  Thursday, September 8th, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Providence Child Center at 830 NE 47th, Portland, 97213.

Officer Herritt will also be conducting police and sherriff department trainings during this week for the Washington County Police Department, Portland Police Department and the Clackamas Sherriff's Department.   We are happy to be a part of this important training for 1st responders.  NOTE:  police department trainings not open to the public. 

ASO'S FALL CONFERENCE IN REDMOND THIS YEAR!

We're taking our conference on the road to beautiful Central Oregon.   It will be on Friday, October 7th at the Deschutes Expo Center in Redmond.
